It has a hole that allows the use of drainage. This tampon works not only as a hemostatic but also reduces pain. The tampon easily becomes soft, does not stick to a wound bed, and is spontaneously discharged in 1-2 days where the sponge completely absorbs within a 3-week period. It can be used in almost all spheres of surgery during uncontrolled bleeding.
The anti-burn wound healing effect of the agent is based on the synergistic effect of stimulating regeneration processes with composite mixtures of chitosan-gelatin polyelectrolyte complex and dexpanthenol. The analgesic and antimicrobial action is provided by the presence of a local anesthetic – lidocaine hydrochloride and an antiseptic – chlorhexidine bigluconate. The tool has a cooling effect, creates a moist environment in the wound, which contributes to its faster healing.
Indication:
Hemostasis during surgical operations for stopping venous capillary or alveolar bleeding, pachymeninx atrium tamponade, hemostasis of intramedullary channel, hemostasis after tooth removal, closing of cholecystis bed after cholecystectomy. In proctology, especially hemorrhoidectomy, after operation dry tampon is used with the help of proctoscope.
